Affordable Housing Finance has released its annual survey that determines the AHF 50 top developers and owners.
The AHF 50 developers list will rank firms based on how many new affordable housing units they started construction on 2025. The AHF 50 owners list will rank firms by how many affordable housing units they own as of Jan. 1, 2026. The Top 10 companies that completed acquisitions and substantial rehabs in 2025 will also be determined.
The AHF 50 rankings are the only lists of their kind for the affordable housing industry and an important look into industry trends. The lists are restricted to general partner developers and owners, and all GP firms are encouraged to participate.
Surveys must be submitted by Feb. 10, 2026.
