National CORE Debuts Rebranded Property Management Arm

National CORE, a prominent affordable housing developer and owner, has launched a new brand identity for its expanding fee-based property management division.

HavenCORE oversees nearly 15,000 apartment homes at more than 200 communities across California and Texas, including communities owned by National CORE. The division has added more than 5,000 apartments in about a year, according to the firm, which noted that more than 200 team members have recently joined the workforce.

“HavenCORE is a rocket ship,” said Michael Ruane, president of National CORE, a nonprofit that owns approximately 9,700 affordable units. “Cities and developers are coming to us because they want a partner they can trust—one that brings precision, compassion, and results. This is National CORE’s expertise unleashed, and the demand just keeps rising.”

Other partners include the city of Rosemead, the Palm Desert Housing Authority, and the city of Rancho Mirage Housing Authority, all in California.

According to company officials,  HavenCORE leverages National CORE’s vertical integration, which brings a full range of affordable housing services under one roof—from construction to compliance and marketing to relocation.

“We bring something different to the market,” said Courtney Richard, senior vice president of property management. “HavenCORE combines operational excellence with a deep commitment to residents.”
